1. Who we are

Mentora ("Mentora", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Mentora AI(the "Seller"). By using the Mentora website and services (the "Service"), you enter into an agreement with the Seller.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into a contract.

3. The Service

Mentora provides AI-generated personalized learning curriculums and progress tracking tools. We may improve, modify or discontinue features at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• Send spam, malware or any malicious code;
• Infringe intellectual property or other rights of third parties;
• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (probing, scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing rate limits);
• Use the Service to generate illegal content, hate speech, deepfakes, harassment, or content that exploits minors.

5. Account & credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by the Seller and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan.

You retain rights to the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.

7. AI outputs

The Service uses generative AI. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular purpose. They do not constitute professional, medical, legal, financial or educational accreditation advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them, and for having the rights to any input content you submit.

We may moderate, restrict or remove content and refuse or filter outputs to comply with law or our acceptable use rules.

8. Payment, subscriptions and tax

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. The payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics applicable to your order are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and the Refund Policy linked below.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service in case of: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted after a reasonable export window.

10. Warranties & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where required by law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify the Seller against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Seller's place of establishment. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email.
